What is included in a yard cleanup?
A spring cleanup cuts back ornamental grasses and frozen perennials, clears winter weeds, edges and reshapes beds, and lays fresh mulch before the heat arrives. A fall cleanup removes leaves from lawn and beds, cuts back spent summer growth, and leaves the yard tidy and ready for winter.
Live oaks drop most of their leaves in early spring rather than fall, so Dallas yards often need two leaf cleanups a year. After a storm we clear down branches and debris and haul it all away.

What should I do between cleanups?
Blow leaves off the lawn every week or two in leaf season so the grass gets light. Pull weeds while they are small, and keep mulch a few inches from stems and trunks.

As a sample price, Northridge Landscaping does a spring or fall cleanup on a typical Dallas lot from $295, including haul-away. Larger yards and heavy leaf loads are quoted on site.
