What kind of landscape lighting is best?
Low-voltage LED lighting is the standard for homes. A transformer plugs into an outdoor outlet and steps power down to 12 volts, so fixtures can be set in beds and lawn safely. LEDs use a fraction of the power of old halogen lamps and last for years.
We start with a night demo, setting temporary lights so you can see the effect before anything is buried. A typical plan uplights one or two trees, lights the walkway and steps, and washes the front of the house softly. Everything runs on a timer or a photocell, with brass or copper fixtures that hold up to Texas sun.

Does landscape lighting need maintenance?
Very little. Trim plants back from fixtures as they grow, wipe lenses once a year, and adjust the timer when the clocks change if you are not on a photocell. We offer a yearly check to re-aim fixtures as trees and beds fill in.
