What should I do right now?

Limb on the house
Keep everyone out of the rooms below and photograph the damage for your insurer. Do not climb up to cut it yourself.

Hanging or split limbs
Keep people, pets and cars out from under the tree until a crew can lower the limbs safely.

Leaning tree
Stay clear of the side it leans toward. If it is near power lines, stay well away and call Oncor and 911.

Shut off the water at the backflow preventer or the main, then turn the controller off.

Clear gutters and downspout outlets if it is safe, and move valuables up off the garage floor. We can add drainage once it dries.
When to call 911
Call 911 if anyone is injured, if power lines are down on or near the house or a tree, if there is fire or the smell of gas, or if a tree has broken through into the home.
